WHO I AM
I spent a year living every word
of 1 Corinthians 13. Out loud.
This is what I found.
I've been an entrepreneur since I was 18. I've built companies, led teams, spoken at the United Nations, and made more mistakes than I can count. I've also been to Haiti more times than I can count — and that place has taught me more about love than anything else in my life.
A few years ago I decided to spend an entire year living every single attribute of love from 1 Corinthians 13 — patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, all of it — on purpose, in my real life, with my real relationships. I wrote a book about it called Love Is. That year changed everything.
Here's what I know for certain: love is not a feeling. It is a verb. It is a choice you make every single day — in your marriage, in your leadership, in every room you walk into. And one person who loves with intention changes every room they're in.
