LOVE IS -- A Year-Long Experiment Living Out1 Corinthians 13 Love
Four months after receiving a breast cancer diagnosis, her husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, passing away just six weeks later. After losing her husband, Kim began questioning the true meaning of love. She decided to dedicate a full year, taking a 2000 year old poem that you hear at a lot of weddings, love is patient, love is kind, does not envy, ect., one word at a time and figure out what love really is. Doing most of her research in Haiti, the things that she discovered about love are unlike anything you've heard before and are chronicled in her book, Love Is.
"I absolutely love this book! It is definitely chicken soup for your soul. I couldn’t stop turning the pages. It is part memoir, part adventure story, and part personal and spiritual development guidebook. Do yourself a really big favor and read this book."
